The NBC Difference
Unlike other camp programs where skills training falls under the expertise of the camp director, NBC Camps has built a program of training to help each camper walk out of camp a better player and person.  Our site directors work as event managers helping to run a great week of camp and facilitating the implementation of our specific camp expectations.   Our basketball instruction is based on skill curriculum and talent development we believe are essential to take your game to the next level.   Though coaching styles and drills may change, our master teachers receive DVDs, lesson plans, and detailed training on how to maximize this week of camp.  Coaching at camp is much different than coaching a team.  With 45 years of experience, our goal is to give you the best basketball and life skills instruction possible.

TEACH BASKETBALL AND LIFE SKILLS AT A “WORLD CLASS” LEVEL
Coach the game at a world class level.  FAB 4
• Protect the ball
• Play with quickness and intensity
• Play Smart
• Finish the play

Teach by living valuable skills for life.   LIFE 4
• Guard your heart
• Live with love & intensity
• Be smart by seeking out wisdom
• Finish strong, never give up

TEC Method
We want each athlete to leave camp a better player and more confident person.  The ability to know, understand and apply is the heart of NBC’s Teach, Encourage, Correct method.

Well Done!

My son loved NBC Whitworth Camps. As a parent, I thought you did an excellent job.  This was our son's first experience at an NBC camp in the US. He was made to feel very welcome, and he absolutely loved the additional intensity. The coaches were excellent, we were delighted with every aspect. Well done.

This camp challenged me and was really fun.  No camp is perfect, but more games would be fun.  But I loved the games we did play.

Great camp.

I like how the coaches really got to know us and helped us build on our strengths and work on our weaknesses. And we love the character building and that God is at the center. The small groups were great!

Friendly And Knowledgeable!

Friendly and knowledgeable coaching staff who were positive an encouraging to kids. Provided individual instruction to kids when needed and seemed to help each kid improve regardless of ability levels. I was impressed to hear many coaches calling students by their names. Excellent teachers of the game! High intensity drills and activities to keep the kids motivated and engaged. Loved the showcase at the end of camp!

Did A Great Job!

The camp coaches did a great job of being very positive and encouraging on the court. They taught aspects of the game that other coaches have not taken the time to teach my daughter! They helped her enjoy being on the court again and helped her build confidence! She wants to return again and she was not sure about playing at all before attending the this camp!

Well Organized!

Everything was well organized. The coaches were terrific. The camp store concept was helpful. The teaching method was effective, building stronger individuals rather than just basketball players.

Loved Everything!

I loved everything about it! All staff was friendly but I feel that my daughters coach went above and beyond! Made my daughter feel so comfortable, talked about post high school career and motivated my daughter to work harder. I also loved the leadership seminars. I feel both my kids took things away from that they put into use immediately and will last a lifetime. Thanks to all for organizing this camp!
