What
is the camp like?
NBC Family
Camp is located in Spokane, Washington on the beautiful campus
of Whitworth University. Family Hoop Camp provides teaching stations
for beginning campers and advanced campers as well as for
beginning adults and advanced adults. Stations allow the adults
to learn with their youngsters. Fundamental stations are active,
fun and geared to the skill level of each person. Games are
fun and competitive. Past seminars for parents have included: "The Art of conversation in your family, " "How to make forgiveness a day-to-day reality," "Keeping basketball
in perspective," "Communication," "How
to develop trust," and "How to grow in your faith." Parents and campers room together in the beautiful air-conditioned apartment like dorms.
Who can attend?
Campers
ages 7 to any age accompanied by an adult. Adults may be:
Father, Mother, Aunt, Uncle, Grandpa, Grandma, special friends, or
anyone who would like to spend time with a young person.
Families may attend.
How
serious is the basketball?
We at
NBC Camps take basketball very seriously, but we also know
life isn't basketball. If you don't love basketball, after
this weekend you will.
If you love basketball, you shouldn't be anywhere else.
Scholarships available
Thanks to a generous donation, we will have some funding available for families who cannot afford to come to camp. To apply to receive scholarship assistance or to donate to family camp please contact jennifer@nbccamps.com
