After many requests for NBC to expand its unique camp experience to the sport of soccer, NBC Camps began soccer camp in 1985. NBC Camps’ focus on training the complete athlete, physically, mentally and spiritually, creates a life-changing camp experience. Intensity, skill mastery, life-skills training, and amazing coaches all help create a camp that could be the highlight of your summer. Elite soccer coach and former college athlete, Matt Leonard, provides the soccer curriculum and recruits great soccer athletes and coaches to help give the best soccer instruction available. Come experience Intensity Station, tournament play, skill training, great evening programs and much more this summer at NBC Soccer Camp!

Walla Walla Campus Description
Walla Walla University was founded in 1892 as Walla Walla College. On the beautiful campus, NBC campers will be staying in the University dormitories. Each room has two beds with nearby private shower facilities. Evening Programs are held in the oldcampus church, now an auditorium. There is an athletic facility with three full courts and a swimming pool, and two school gymnasiums situated on the edge of campus. For soccer camp, there are three fields on campus (including two with lights). Walla Walla University is located just next to Walla Walla in College Place, Washington, about an hour from the tri-cities.

Matt “Bones” Leonard
Matt is the Head Coach of the U-17 Boys & U-18 Girls Spokane Shadow teams and a school teacher. He is also an assistant coach at Whitworth University. He coached boys and girls teams at Shadle Park High School and earned GSL Coach of the Year in ‘03. An All-Conference player at Whitworth, he later played with the PDL-USL Spokane Shadow. He has directed NBC Soccer since ’02.

note our schedule is rigorous. Our evening programs involve
motivational speakers, skits, music, and high energy entertainment
designed to encourage you to be the best you can be. Instructional
time is intense and puts you in the action with great drills
that keep you interested and challenged. Because the emphasis
is on improving your skills, you'll be playing games and more
games.
How can I request
a roommate?
At NBC Soccer camps there is no need to request a roommate
in advance. To request a room with a friend, stand in the
rooming line together the day of registration. It is important
to the NBC Camps' staff that campers are able to room with
their friends. We will do everything we can to make this possible.
