SUMMER 2010 CAMP DATES

* These camps are being offered to allow campers to help save on the cost of camp while still maintaining the NBC Camps experience.  Campers do not stay in the residential dorms but rather arrive each day at 9 am and leave after evening discussion at 8 or 9pm depending on camp schedule.  Lunch and dinner are served.  

The Campus

The Kings University College, is located in Edmonton, Alberta, just minutes east of downtown on 50 Street.  It’s 21,000 square metre modern campus is home to over 600 students during the year and features a main building which houses the gymnasium, dorm rooms, cafeteria and meeting room, all under one roof.  Each dorm room has its own bathroom and shower.  Kings basketball and volleyball teams compete in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference. 

About the Staff
We select outstanding people we believe are of high integrity and character, work ethic and willingness to pour their lives into helping athletes be their best. We work hard to hire college players, college and high school coaches and dynamic competent teachers of the game.

Camp Director:
This camp is lead by NBC Volleyball Director, Christy Swagerty-Vilas an 11-year veteran with NBC Camps. She was the All-time assist leader, captain and voted most inspirational at the Master's College. She has coached at the Sante Fe Christian State Championship volleyball program in San Diego, CA. Please note our schedule is rigorous. Our Main Events involve motivational speakers, skits, music, and high energy entertainment designed to encourage you to be the best you can be. Instructional time is intense and puts you in the action with great drills that keep you interested and challenged. Because the emphasis is on improving your skills, you'll be playing games and more games.
