NBC Camps Eastern Oregon volleyball camps are found at one of the most notable spots in Northeastern Oregon, Eastern Oregon University in the city of La Grande. With its beautiful campus and and high quality volleyball gymnasiums, the home of the Mountaineers makes for an ideal place for NBC Camps.

About the Campus
Eastern Oregon University is located in the quiet town of La Grande, Oregon. Surrounded by a peaceful residential area, the University hosts a beautiful gym, cafeteria, and nice older residential dorms. Each room accommodates two campers, with nearby private shower facilities. Rooms for more than two are also available. These rooms are not air-conditioned and we suggest you bring a fan. You do not need to request a roommate before camp begins. When you sign up for a room, have your preferred roommate with you. If you have no preference, we will match you with someone of the same gender and similar age. NBC Camps evening programs are held in the University's multimillion dollar theatre. Both the local junior high and high school gyms are within minutes of the campus providing plenty of great gym space for games and training. The University food service provides nutritional entrees with all-you-can-eat breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets.

About the Staff
We select outstanding people we believe are of high integrity and character, work ethic and willingness to pour their lives into helping athletes be their best. We work hard to hire college players, college and high school coaches and dynamic competent teachers of the game.

Camp Directors
Director of volleyball Instruction at the camp is Jamie Smart. Jamie has coached for NBC Volleyball for four years. She also has coached club volleyball for four years. She played volleyball at Whitworth College where she was the captain of the 2002 team that played in the NCAA Western Regional Finals. Jamie is the director of volleyball at this site and also the site at Whitworth University. jamie smart was the team captain of the 2001-2002 Whitworth University volleyball teams which competed in the National tournament. The U17 team she coached went to the National Junior Olympic tournament in 2004. Doris Norris will act as the administrator of this camp. Doris Norris is the director of the very well known Sideout Volleyball club. She has been a director for four years and was recently inducted into Whiworth University Heritage Gallery Hall of Fame. During her career she was First Team-All-Conference and Three-time Regional All-Star.

Please note our schedule is rigorous. Our Main Events involve motivational speakers, skits, music, and high energy entertainment designed to encourage you to be the best you can be. Instructional time is intense and puts you in the action with great drills that keep you interested and challenged. Because the emphasis is on improving your skills, you'll be playing games and more games.
