NBC Camps is now hiring for summer coaching jobs for 2008. NBC Camps hires over 550 staff at our 23 locations worldwide. NBC Camps summer camp programs are located in Spokane, Auburn, and Spangle, Washington; 2 Portland areas (McMinnville, and Newberg) and La Grande, Oregon; Redding, Rocklin(Sacramento), Fullerton and Napa, California; 1 in the Boise area, (Nampa) and Coeur d' Alene, Idaho; Billings, Montana; Anchorage, Alaska; Olds Alberta; Abbotsford, British Columbia; Elon, North Carolina; Denver area (Greeley), Colorado; Isle of Man in the UK, and Elon, North Carolina. QUALIFICATIONS FOR COACHING JOBS
Athletic Experience
Minimum: Must have been a High school varsity player or had previous coaching experience. Preference will be given to college athletes.
Moral Excellence Character
References will be contacted and thoughtfully considered.
Education
Minimum: GED (except Junior Coaches) Preference will be given to those currently excelling in college and to college graduates.
People Skills
Camp coaches must be able to relate and interact with athletes, parents, other coaches, and those in leadership with a professional, appropriate, and meaningful manner.
Enthusiasm
Camp coaches must have a thankful, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality.
Personal Growth
We are a camp based on Christian principles and values. NBC Camps desires physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual growth and development for both campers and coaches. Coaches must be able to lead a thoughtful discussion with athletes on the topics of goal setting, peer pressure, confidence, teamwork, family and faith in God.
COMPENSATION
$700 Certified Athletic Trainer
$400 coach
