Pure Shooting and Offensive Skills Basketball Camp in Auburn Washington Seattle Area
Pure Shooting/Offensive Camp at Auburn, Washington offers intensive basketball training on offense skills and shooting. Focus on shot correction and great shooting habits as well as offensive skill work such as getting open, attacking the basket, and finishing every play with a make. We will work on ways to correct shooting form, give you the opportunity to compete in shooting games/drills, view shots on video in a classroom setting, and review the Crowell Pure Shooting system workbook.
We also work on individual offensive skills like ball handling and attacking the basket. Our emphasis with attack moves is getting to the hoop and finishing both from the triple threat and off the dribble. We will have a live-action play at camp to provide an opportunity to translate individual skills to the team aspect in real game situations. The staff to camper ratio is 1:10. We also conduct our life skills/leadership training focusing on goal setting, the power of words, mental toughness, and personal faith.
This camp is hosted at Auburn Academy in Auburn, Washington. The camp is very intensive, and campers play between 6-10 hours of basketball per day. Campers stay in the dormitories on campus, meals are served in the onsite cafeteria and campers use gyms located on campus or are bussed a short distance to nearby gyms. Campers receive video analysis of their shoot, shooting curriculum and workbooks, goal sheets, and more.
