camp at North Idaho College is located in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho on Lake
Coeur d' Alene. For 35 years NBC Camps has been training athletes for
success on and off the court. Creating the best instructional basketball
camps in the U.S. is our full-time job.

About the Campus
North
Idaho College: Coeur d' Alene, Idaho
North Idaho College is located on the world famous lake Coeur
d' Alene. Campers have access during supervised free time
for lake swimming. Campers will be staying in the dorms at
North Idaho College's new multi-million dollar facility. Rooms are air-conditioned and each suite houses three to four campers
with individual private showers and facilities. You
do not need to request a roommate before camp begins. When
you sign up for a room, have your preferred roommate with
you. If you have no preference, we will match you with someone
of the same gender and similar age. The cafeteria
provides all-you can eat selections. NIC has one college-size
gym on campus and campers alternate bussing to nearby local
gyms for greater floor space for games and training. The evening
program is located in a large event room in the student center.
About the Staff We select outstanding
people we believe are of high integrity and character, work ethic and
willingness to pour their lives into helping athletes be their best. We
work hard to hire college players, college and high school coaches and
dynamic competent teachers of the game.
SITE DIRECTORS
Danny Beard
Danny is the Senior Vice President of NBC Camps and is entering his 27th year with the organization. He serves as the Head Coach for NBC Thunder, a Division 1 exhibition team. Danny played his college basketball at Kansas State University and earned All Midwest Regional honors for the top-ten nationally ranked Wildcats. Danny went on to coach six years at the Division 1 level with Samford University and Eastern Illinois University. Danny is also an ordained minister.
Matt Kaiser
Matt Kaiser has been the Assistant Site Director of NBC Camps at NIC for the past two summers. He has been with the NBC for nearly 10 years, coaching and assisting in various roles. Matt has a BS in Athletic Training and Exercise Science from Linfield College, where he also played varsity basketball for four years, earning All Conference Honors his senior year and being named Linfield College’s Male Athlete of the Year. He also has a Master’s Degree in Teaching from George Fox University. Matt taught fourth grade for five years at Northwest Christian School in Spokane, Washington and currently is a full-time youth pastor at Crossover Church in Spokane.
