NBC Basketball Camp at North Idaho College,
Coeur d' Alene, Idaho
Located on beautiful Lake Coeur d' Alene, NBC Camps utilizes the multimillion dollar dorms for a great camp experience. This camp is directed by NBC Camps Senior Vice President, Coach Danny Beard, an former K-State stand-out, and former Division 1 coach. Staff will help you improve at these comprehensive skill camps. Dorms are air-conditioned and ready to go for a great summer. Located right on Lake Coeur d'Alene, this camp offers a great opportunity for campers to swim and enjoy the summer on one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Nothing is more fun after a full day of basketball than putting your feet in Lake Coeur d Alene.

For extended day campers start and end times are the same time as overnight campers. Each day of camp, check in for extended day begins at 8:30 until 9 or 9:30 at night depending on the schedule.ck-in on the first day and end time on the final day for extended day are the same as overnigh
About the Campus
North
Idaho College: Coeur d' Alene, Idaho
North Idaho College is located on the world famous lake Coeur
d' Alene. Campers have access during supervised free time
for lake swimming. Campers will be staying in the dorms at
North Idaho College's new multi-million dollar facility. Rooms are air-conditioned and each suite houses three to four campers
with individual private showers and facilities. You
do not need to request a roommate before camp begins. When
you sign up for a room, have your preferred roommate with
you. If you have no preference, we will match you with someone
of the same gender and similar age. The cafeteria
provides all-you can eat selections. NIC has one college-size
gym on campus and campers alternate bussing to nearby local
gyms for greater floor space for games and training. The evening
program is located in a large event room in the student center.

work hard to hire college players, college and high school coaches and
dynamic competent teachers of the game.
SITE DIRECTOR
Danny Beard
Danny is the Senior Vice President of NBC Camps and is entering his 27th year with the organization. He served as the Head Coach for NBC Thunder, a Division 1 exhibition team. Danny played his college basketball at Kansas State University and earned All Midwest Regional honors for the top-ten nationally ranked Wildcats. Danny went on to coach six years at the Division 1 level with Samford University and Eastern Illinois University. Danny is also an ordained minister.
Coach of the Year at Camp
NBC Camps is excited to have Coach Carlson at our North Idaho Camps this summer. Coach Carlson’s NIC women’s basketball team won the NJCAA National Championship in 2011 and he was named the Coach of the Year. His teams have seven straight 20-win seasons including three top ten national finishes. Prior to coming to NIC, Carlson was an assistant coach for three years at Eastern Washington University where he helped guide the women’s team to its best record since 1988.
