Basketball is on the
rise in Canada and NBC Camps is the right place to learn the game. Since
1986, NBC Camps has been hosting basketball camps at Olds College in Alberta.
Located midway between Edmonton and Calgary, our camp in Olds attracts
a wide range of athletes from both rural and urban communities. Camps will include complete skill development camps called Complete Player Camps, our Position Specific training for point, wing and post positions, The Total player advanced leadership and basketball camp for the ultimate experience and a new Family Hoops Camp for the whole family to enjoy.

This is not an all-star camp. It is an advanced training camp for basketball players who want to be the best they can be in all areas of life.
Leadership training, Classroom sessions, Sports Psychology, Teach the game-improve your game by learning how to train others, speed explosion training, close out the week with a 5 on 5 tournament against high school club teams.
Participants will receive a camp t-shirt, long sleeve dri-fit, reversible jersey, and practice shorts
Participants must be former NBC Campers entering grades 9 through 1st year college.

Check in at 12:30 Camp begins at 2:00
Closing Program begins 3:00

Basketball and volleyball camps end 4:00 pm final day
About the Campus
Olds College is located
in the quiet and tranquil town of Olds, Alberta. The dining facility,
dorm rooms and beautiful college gym are all part of the same building
complex. Evening programs are held in the modern center. For games and
training, campers alternate bussing to local gyms ranging from 3 to 15
minutes away. Campers will be staying in very nice residential dorms.
Each room accommodates two campers, with nearby private shower facilities.
These rooms do not have linen and bedding provided and are not air-conditioned
and we suggest you bring a fan. You do not need to request a roommate
before camp begins. When you sign up for a room, have your preferred roommate
with you. If you have no preference, we will match you with someone of
the same gender and similar age. The college food service provides multiple
all-you-can-eat entrees for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Visit the beautiful

SITE DIRECTOR
Shawn Stetson
Shawn has been involved with NBC Camps for 18 years as a camper, coach,
Master Teacher, Camp Director, and is currently a full time employee.
Shawn is the Assistant Director of Varsity Academy, NBC Camps' year-round
program. He also runs a program called D3 designed for 6-9 year old players.
Shawn played basketball three years at the University of Calgary and graduated
with a degree in Communications. Shawn also earned an Associates degree
in Religious Studies from Prairie Bible College.
