NBC Camp at Whitworth University will offer total basketball skills camp for athletes ages 9-18 as well as our High School Team Camps, Family Hoops Camp and Position Training for the point, wing and post position weekend camp. NBC Camps combines intensity, hard work, skill mastery, enthusiasm, Christian values and great fun into a camp experience where you walk out of camp a better player and a better person.

Advanced Player High School Girls Camp
If you know a female high school basketball player that needs good competition, training and game experience, this is the camp for them!
July 16-20, 2012
This camp runs in conjunction with our NBC Team Camp which features teams from around the region. The individual players will form teams to play against competitive school programs ranging from the freshman level to varsity teams.
Instruction is heavily focused on position work and individual offense. This camp is for the competitive level female high school player.
Junior Overnight Camp for 8-12 year olds
July 17-20, 2012
These camps offer fun and fundamental basketball and athleticism training at a level appropriate for the younger age group and beginning players. The goal is to provide a solid fundamental basketball foundation and create a FUN and memorable camp experience. Overnight option allows campers to sleep in the dorms and eat all meals on campus. Extended day option runs from 9am-8pm and allows campers lunch and dinner. Day option runs from 9am-5pm most days and includes just lunch. Check-in for all Jr. Campers is 12:30 on day 1 and closing is at 4pm on day 4.
For extended day campers, check in time each morning during camp will be at 8:30 and check out each night will be around 9 pm. The check-in on the first day and end time on the final day for extended day are the same as overnight campers.
About the Campus
Whitworth University's 200-acre campus of red brick buildings
and tall pines offers a beautiful, inviting and secure environment. Campers
will be staying in the nice older dorms. Each room has 2 beds available
with nearby private shower facilities. These rooms are not air-conditioned
and we suggest you bring a fan. The quality cafeteria facility provides
an all-you-can-eat salad bar with fresh fruit, hot entrees with beverage,
sandwich and cereal stations. Evening programs are held in the gorgeous
campus auditorium. Whitworth has five gyms available on campus with plenty
of floor space for games and training. Campers alternate being bussed
to nearby local gyms to provide maximum competition. Whitworth is located
seven miles north of downtown Spokane, Washington.
Roommates for this
site need to be requested before camp begins. If you have no preference
we will match you with a camper of same gender and similar age. Contact nbc@nbccamps.com if you need to
add a roommate request.
About the Staff
We select outstanding
people we believe are of high integrity and character, work ethic and
willingness to pour their lives into helping athletes be their best. We
work hard to hire college players, college and high school coaches and
dynamic competent teachers of the game. All our coaches are hand selected, receive a criminal background check, and are evaluated by the campers and leadership staff. Our basketball curriculum is organized to the minute each day with detailed training manuals and DVDs for our Master Teacher coaches.

Site Director
John has been a full time employee with NBC Camps for 10 years and is
the director of NBC's year round training program called Varsity Academy.
He has coached at NBC since 1995. John is a detailed organizer and event planner. Prior to coming to NBC Camps, John
worked as a Television Sports Anchor in Kennewick, Washington. John holds
a degree in Communications from Central Washington University.
