Summer 2007 Itineraries:

If you love your sport (basketball, volleyball, or soccer), you love to travel and then make life long friendships, I want to invite you to consider participating in an NBC International Tour.

Would you love to climb the steps of St Paul’s Cathedral and look over the City of London, or maybe going through a castle in Ireland? Can you imagine walking around the ruins of the coliseum in Rome or entering the doors of the Vatican? What about riding down the Grand Canal in Venice and then playing great competitive teams in these cities and countries? The Scandinavian countries have so much history to experience and then their chocolate is fantastic.

Every year NBC Camps selects athletes who demonstrate exceptional skill and outstanding character to represent NBC Camps, playing basketball, volleyball or soccer overseas on NBC Camps International Tour Teams. If you are selected this summer you will travel next summer competing against top foreign teams while seeing different parts of the world. Tryouts for NBC Camp Tours take place at each of the NBC Camps.

You must be 14 years or older by September 1, 2007 to tryout for a 2008 tour. There are two levels of basketball tours. Juniors are 14 to 16 when they try out and Seniors must turn 17 by September 1, 2007.. Volleyball and soccer tour members can be any age above 14. The age requirements are set by International rules for teams.

The athletes who make it through the first round of tryouts, will then need to submit two recommendations and a parental letter to continue the process. After an athlete is chosen, she or he is placed on a team and sent a manual which explains everything about the tour process for the year.

If you tried out at camp and have not received an invitation, please contact Bonnie at the NBC Central Office. We also are inviting great young people who fit our requirements to contact our office and we will discuss the possibilities of you being part of an 2008 NBC Tour.

Contact Bonnie at 1-800-406-3926 ext 326 or direct line 1-509-232-6465
