The NBC Difference
Unlike other camp programs where skills training falls under the expertise of the camp director, NBC Camps has built a program of training to help each camper walk out of camp a better player and person.  Our site directors work as event managers helping to run a great week of camp and facilitating the implementation of our specific camp expectations.  Our volleyball instruction is based on skill curriculum and talent development we believe are essential to take your game to the next level.  Coaching at camp is much different than coaching a team.  Since 1980, our goal is to give you the best volleyball and life skills instruction possible.

NBC Camps coaches are known for their hard work, great attitude, and commitment to helping you reach your potential on and off the court.  Our curriculum focuses on helping you master even the most difficult skills as well as developing leadership, mental toughness, and confidence.

TEACH VOLLEYBALL AND LIFE SKILLS AT A “WORLD CLASS” LEVEL
Coach the game at a world-class level.  FAB 4
• Be skilled
• Play with quickness and intensity
• Play Smart
• Finish the play
Teach by living valuable skills for life.   LIFE 4
• Build your talent
• Live with love & intensity
• Be smart by seeking out wisdom
• Finish strong, never give up

TEC Method
The ability to know, understand and apply is the heart of NBC’s Teach, Encourage, Correct method.  True teaching takes place when the student knows how to reproduce the skill and self-correct the skill when it is wrong.

Amazing Week

GO, GO, GO!!!! Talk about a positive place for teen girls to be! The coaches show the girls how to be strong, not only physically but mentally. When I came to pick my daughter up from camp, you could see it on all the girls faces; the fun times they had and the excitement to get out there and accomplish the next task that came their way. What a week! Thanks NBC Alaska Volleyball!

Good

Everything was good. The girls only mentioned it was kind of crowded sleeping quarters and too few and "kind of yucky" showers.

Every Year!

Every year, I continue to meet new campers and coaches, and even some that I still stay in touch with. I loved being pushed at morning workouts and intensity night because that's how you get better and that's why I come to camp. I also love having guest speakers every night. Listening to coach Green and coach Lauwers is very inspiring! Also, roll calls are so much fun! My absolute favorite part of camp was the Golden Ruler program. I initially wanted to do it to challenge myself and to become a better leader on and of the court but I got so much more out of it. I learned time management, keeping a positive attitude, and more about my faith and myself.

Lot of work.

It was a lot of work but worth it. I just didn't like some of the food or dorms. I want to come back!

Loved it!

My daughter LOVED the NBC Volleyball camp-she wanted another week! The coaches were all very qualified, energetic and encouraging. They worked hard and played hard. The facility was great and having the dorm room to call "home" for the week was great. She Loved it and will be returning in the years to come.

Coming back next year

I would recommend NBC camp for anyone looking for help with volleyball. The coaches are wonderful and teach you everything you would want to know about volleyball from setting to jump serving. They can help anyone of any level. I will for sure be back for next year’s camp.
