Richard Vasey of Medford, Oregon Announced as Coach for Italy Basketball Travel Team

NBC Camps would like to announce Richard Vasey as coach for 2018 Basketball Travel Team to Italy. Coach Vasey has several years under his belt coaching basketball with both boys and girls middle school through high school. Vasey has spent many summers coaching and putting on basketball camps and connected with NBC Camps this past summer working his first NBC Camp in Newberg, Oregon. He is currently entering his 23rd year as a basketball coach and is the head girl’s basketball coach at St. Mary’s High School in Medford, Oregon.

Vasey's coaching career has included stints in Colorado, Nebraska, and Oregon. Vasey's states "Through basketball, I have also had the great fortune to have had the opportunity to play and coach overseas including time in New Zealand and the Phillipines."

Coaching alongside his friend and colleague Kevin Dixon, who brings with him an incredible wealth of knowledge and experience, brings him much joy and excitement. Vasey states "I am also looking forward to working with your sons and to be a part of their growth as a person and a player through this unique opportunity."

NBC USA to Italy Basketball Travel Team | July 19 - 30 | Boys Ages 16 - 20

Athletes on the Italy Travel Team will play in one of the most competitive overseas countries. When not on the court, the team will participate in activities such as touring Venice and Rome, and Vatican City.

NBC International Tours have sent travel teams for basketball around the globe since 1977.
