Location: College Basketball Prep Camp (CIC) want to give athletes a true taste of the college basketball experience including changing locations, traveling and playing in different settings.  The camp will begin at George Fox University, travel to Linfield College and end the camp in Portland.

Airport transportation: Many of the campers attending CIC fly into this camp.  We make every effort to make this a safe and comfortable situation for both parents and athletes.  For those arriving to camp from the airport, there will be a shuttle leaving from Portland airport to George Fox University. (Cost will be $25 per athlete).   Please attempt to schedule your arrival before 12 pm on this day.  If this is not possible, please consider flying into camp the day before.  We have many athletes flying in and we want parents to feel very comfortable about your son or daughter coming to camp.  We will have College Prep Administrator Lindsay Dietzen contact you about any travel arrangements.  NBC staff will meet your son or daughter and ensure they connect with the shuttles with the other campers and staff.  Please email Lindsay at cic@nbccamps.com for questions about our transportation assistance.

What if I need to fly to camp a day early?
We welcome athletes arriving a day early and have easy ways for you do this.  We do have athletes flying from around the U.S. or from out of country who need to arrive a day early based on flight schedules. Please contact CIC if you need to fly in a day early.   Contact cic@nbccamps.com

Amazing Camp!

•“WOW! That pretty much sums it up. CIC has it all. Great coaches, great competition, great atmosphere. It is a top tier camp that I believe easily holds its own and surpasses any other basketball camp in the country on any level. You just can't beat it - all of the life skills and basketball skills learned make this a well rounded camp and will help a player not only develop as a better player, but also as a better person.”

Best coaching

“There is no better coaching on the planet. Not only did every coach have an extreme knowledge of the sport of basketball, but they were also knowledgeable about the skills required in life. The life skills learned at camp were just as good and important as the basketball skills that I learned.”

Most beneficial experience

As a former camper and coach at NBC Camps, I can't think of a situation that would be more beneficial for a young basketball player than the CIC camp. Fred and Jay, and their staff are committed to making each camper the best player, and best person they can be. They will work incredibly hard on the court, but the most inspiring changes will be made in their mind and heart. This is the first step to success in life. I believe and live by the values they teach in this intensive camp. This camp is for those who want to be to best on and off the court.

For College players as well

Last year as a first time college athlete, it was hard to know exactly what to expect moving on from high school. With the help of the coaching staff at CIC, I entered camp as a young college player and in that week of intense workouts, I graduated as a much better prepared, more mature college athlete. I strongly recommend the camp to not just high school athletes, but college level athletes as well.

One of the best experiences of my life

My name is Angela and I am a professional basketball coach in Rome. My passion is basketball. At one point, my desire was to be one of Italy's best players. The highlight of my career was when Italy defeated the USA in the 1993 World Games. I have played basketball at the highest level and I have experienced many great learning opportunities. Today my motivation is to coach Italy's Olympic team. When I saw NBC Camps for the first time, I knew this would be a great opportunity for me to learn more about coaching basketball, especially the technical and motivational aspects of the game. This past summer I spent 10 days in the United States at CIC CAMP . NBC Camps is fantastic. Being part of NBC Camps is one of the best experiences of my life and I am a better coach for it. NBC Camps will make you a better player, but more importantly, you will be a better person.

play at the next level

I like this camp because not only does it teach you about the game of basketball but it teaches you how to become a better person, inside and out. If you want to play at the next level (college), this is the best camp for you to go to.

Well worth flying across the country!

This is the third year I have sent my son to NBC camps, with Crowell Intensity camp being the choice this year. Each year he has improved dramatically and the experience has proven an advantage for Sean as he competes for playing time on a talented varsity team. It is worth flying him across the country for this experience, and I will do so again.

Best experience of the year

We travel at great expense from Hawaii every year to attend NBC Basketball Camps. The profound impact of these camps, the staff, the coaches, and the other campers greatly overshadows the impact of the coaches and teams my daughter experiences during the other 50 weeks of the year.

Plans to carry on goals after camp

I would recommend this camp to others seeing that it helped me to become a better player. Not only am I stronger and more informed on my skills, but I have acquired plans and knowledge to continue to become a better player after the camp had ended.

Highly recommend

NBC Camps are amazing. They teach basketball skills and life skills in a created environment that is comfortable and enjoyable. Every year I look forward going to a NBC Camp. The level of competition is great, the staff is always energetic and enthusiastic, and you meet a lot of new kids every year. I would highly recommend NBC Camps if you want to become a better athlete/basketball player and overall person. It is an amazing experience to be a part of one of their camps.

Completely changed by what I encountered

"Expecting a camp similar to my community college summer week experiences, I was shocked, leveled, and completely changed by what I encountered. I hope that NBC continues to grow and push young athletes to become more than they already are. You are teaching more than you know."
