BASKETBALL DAY CAMP INFORMATION
Daily Times for Day Camp: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm (first-day check-in is 9:30 am)
What to Bring: sack lunch each day, basketball, and water bottle for breaks
CAMP DESCRIPTIONS
Complete Skills Camps emphasize extensive basketball development, intensity, enthusiasm, leadership, and teamwork. We break our teaching into four focus areas: Individual offense, defense, shooting, and team skills. Campers are separated into teaching groups and teams based on their age and ability. NBC Camps's full-time staff work year-round to make NBC Camps the premier basketball camp in the world.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & OTHER
Ratio: approximately a 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience.
Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own athletic equipment and have at least one pair of well-broken-in basketball (court) shoes. Campers do need to bring their own basketball (clearly labeled with their name). Visit our Camp Packing List for a full list of what to bring. NBC Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
Allergies/Dietary Restrictions/Medical Concerns: please include this on your registration so campus staff and camp staff can be prepared for your camper's arrival.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

Sample Daily Schedule
- 9:00 am Welcome, warm up and shoot around
- 9:15 am Ball handling/dribbling stations
- 10:00 am Skill instruction including shooting, passing, rebounding, attacking the basket, and defense
- 12:00 pm Lunch break - bring sack lunch
- 1:00 pm Leadership and life skills training and discussion
- 1:30 pm Competitive work such as small sided games, shooting competitions, live scrimmage
- 3:50 pm Spotlights and daily review
- 4:00 pm Camper dismissal

Camp Coaches

Camp Director Dan Trageser
Coach Trageser brings over 15 years of experience in youth basketball, having coached at every level—from middle school to some of the most talented high school and collegiate athletes in the country, including top-tier Prep and AAU programs. Currently, he serves as the Boys Varsity Basketball Coach at Flathead High School. Throughout his career, Coach Trageser has earned multiple state championships as both a player and a coach, along with numerous Coach of the Year awards. He has also played a pivotal role in helping more than 65 student-athletes achieve their dream of playing basketball at the collegiate level. Now in his third year as the director of NBC Camps in Kalispell, Coach Trageser looks forward to working with campers each summer. His mission is not only to develop skilled basketball players but also to nurture young people of strong character.
