NBC Camps is excited for the third summer of girls lacrosse camp in Eastern Washington. Prepare for your upcoming summer tournaments or enhance your skills before the season begins at our NBC Lacrosse Girls Camp on the beautiful campus of Whitworth University.
Whitworth University in Spokane, Washington will host the Girls NBC Lacrosse One Day Camp. This camp is perfect for player looking to improve their lacrosse game in a fun, positive, and challenging atmosphere. Led by Whitworth University Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach Noelle Brouillard, athletes will learn the foundations of a strong lacrosse player. Training curriculum will focus on stickwork, ground balls, situational breakdown, man up/man down, fast breaks, introduction to college play, increasing your game speed and game knowledge. There will be separate programs for younger players and those more experienced.

NBC Lacrosse Camp provides players of all abilities the opportunity to grow their skill sets in lacrosse and leadership on an individual and team level. Unlike other camps, NBC Lacrosse puts an emphasis on training the total athlete.
What are the differences between the Girls Fundamental Camp and Girls Advanced Camp?
Fundamental Camp: This camp is designed for the younger lacrosse player looking to begin their journey with the sport or expand on their skills from their first year playing. This camp targets basic ball handling skills and individual player positional work.
Advanced Camp: Ideal for players who have played for 2+ years with their high school or club teams. This camp will introduce more advanced strategy and skill concepts within game play scenarios.

NBC DAY CAMP INFORMATION
FUNDAMENTALS DAY CAMP
Daily Times for Day Camp: 9am to 5pm (first day check-in is 8:45am)
What to Bring: water bottle, sack lunch, their own stick, goggles and mouth guard. Goalies will need to bring their own equipment.
ADVANCED DAY CAMP
Daily Times for Day Camp: 9am to 5pm (first day check-in is 8:45am)
What to Bring: water bottle, sack lunch, campers need to bring their own stick, goggles and mouth guard. Goalies will need to bring their own equipment.
Learn skill based work on attack, midfield, and defense, progress into small sided games and end each day with full field play.
I have never played lacrosse before, is camp a good place for me to be introduced to the sport?
Our fundamental camp is geared for campers who have just begun playing lacrosse or are new to the sport of lacrosse. At camp, campers will be evaluated and will then be grouped according to age and ability. If you are a first time lacrosse player, camp could be a good way to start to learn the game of lacrosse and gain some experience before trying out for your local lacrosse team.
I am a goalie; will I get specific goalie instruction?
Yes, in addition to participating in all drills and scrimmages, specific goalie instruction will be provided by our defensive staff.

Camp Questions & Answers
Am I required to bring my own equipment to camp?
All campers should provide their own lacrosse stick and necessary protective equipment: mouthguard and goggles. There are a limited number of sticks and goggles for camp participants that can be utilized for new players. If you are a new player and need a stick and goggles please contact the camp director upon registration to reserve a pair.
In order to attend the advanced camp, must I be a member of my Varsity team?
The advanced lacrosse camp is recommended and geared for players that have Varsity experience and/or have multiple years of playing experience (2-3 years) and meet the stated age requirements. This camp will focus on advanced skills, position play, team concepts and have a more intense level of competition.

Noelle Brouillard is the Head Women's Lacrosse Coach at Whitworth University and new NBC Lacrosse Director for Spokane, WA. Brouillard brings extensive lacrosse knowledge to Eastern Washington.
