Girls USA Basketball Travel Team to the UK Finalized

NBC Basketball Team Camps

NBC Basketball Camps have selected girls from ages 14-19 to travel on the USA Girls Travel Team to the UK. Girls have been selected from a number of states and are comprised of girls from Alaska, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Colorado and California. Selections were made by NBC Coaches based on basketball ability and moral character.

NBC Camps have been sending travel teams overseas since 1977 and believe in the leadership training and opportunity international travel offers. "We believe young women should be allowed the opportunity to compete in international travel. Going to another country and experiencing a different culture has been proven to enhance leadership and future confidence as a leader. We want to help train the next generation of women leaders to be powerful thinkers and problem solvers. What better way to achieve this than the opportunity to compete with basketball overseas, "says NBC President Fred Crowell.

Girls traveling to the UK will join together for a private training camp and then travel around the UK for games and sight seeing. Athletes will connect with local UK teams to compete and build friendships. Selections for the NBC Travel Team to the UK for 2024 will begin in June, 2023.
