Three Hills 2024 Overnight Volleyball Camp
NBC Volleyball at Prairie College in Three Hills, Alberta will host a TOTAL volleyball camp for experienced campers who want to take their game to the next level. NBC Camps focuses on training the total athlete with an emphasis on skill mastery, mental toughness, servant leadership, and personal faith. Camps combine Christian values with cutting-edge research on talent development, building confidence, and the importance of commitment. OVERNIGHT CAMPER INFORMATION
Daily Times for Overnight & Extended Day: First day check-in begins at 12:30pm for overnight and extended day campers. Extended Day times from 9:00am-9:00pm daily and end on the final day at 4pm with the overnight campers (Director will provide exact drop off and pick up times)
EXTENDED DAY CAMPER SCHEDULE
First day: 12:30pm-9:00pm. Dinner provided.
Middle days: 9:00am-9:00pm. Lunch and dinner provided.
Last day: 9:00am-4:00pm. Lunch provided.
Extended day campers DO NOT sleep on campus or eat breakfast on campus.
CAMP DESCRIPTION
NBC TOTAL is for elite high school players who want to play post-secondary volleyball. TOTAL offers intense training to prepare you for what to expect at the next level.

- Seminars in Leadership, Sports Psychology, Getting Recruited and more
- Weight Training, Nutrition, and Plyometrics
- Evaluation of where each athlete currently stands
- Detailed game plan for each athlete to play college volleyball
ROOMMATES & HOUSING
Roommates for this site need to be requested at least two weeks before camp begins. If you have no preference, we will match you with a camper of the same gender and similar age. Contact nbc@nbccamps.com if you need to add a roommate request.
Housing - The information below is subject to change each year.
Air conditioning: varies - campers are encouraged to bring a fan.
Lost Key Fee: Yes
Campers per room: usually 2
Bathrooms: Campers share a common bathroom
Supervision: boys and girls are separated into different dorms or different floors with coaches of the same gender staying in the dorms for supervision.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & OTHER
Ratio: approximately a 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience.
Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own knee pads and athletic equipment and have at least one pair of well broken-in volleyball (court) shoes. Campers do need to bring their own volleyball (clearly labeled with their name).
Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
Allergies/Dietary Restrictions/Medical Concerns: please include this on your registration so campus staff and camp staff can be prepared for your camper's arrival and meals.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

ABOUT THE CAMPUS
The Prairie campus in Three Hills, Alberta is wonderfully small. The dorms, cafeteria and gym are all within a 5 minute walk. The gym is called the Rick Down Athletic Centre and boasts a big, beautiful gym with a high ceiling and plenty of room.
Dorms at Prairie are accessed by key card and each camper receives a card in addition to his or her room key. Rooms are traditional college dorm-style with two beds per room and a large, shared bathroom on each floor.

Camp Director Davis Borden
H. Davis Borden has been at NBC CAMPS for 10 years. He has played 5 years of post-secondary volleyball at Briercrest College. He’s coached all levels from elementary to high school and enjoys every moment of working with young athletes to unlock their potential and teach them life skills that will serve them in all aspects. Whether it is on the court, in their faith, or everyday life he finds satisfaction in walking along side the next generation and working with kids.
