NBC George Fox University Position Camps
NBC offers a Basketball Camp at George Fox University. This camp is an advanced skills camp designed to teach and challenge players who are well-established at a particular position. Our focus for perimeter players (guards and wings) is on skills such as shooting, ball handling, attacking the basket from the triple threat and off the dribble, understanding court spacing and passing angles, and how effectively interact with post players. For interior players (centers, posts, power forwards) we will focus on finishing around the basket, mastering 3-5 go-to post-scoring moves, getting open on the post, rebounding, and interior defense. Every player stays involved and active in drills, training, and competitive games throughout the week.
Our coaching staff will work hard to invest personally in the athletes on and off the court while at camp. We want each person to leave camp with an understanding of how to grow as a player and person and the motivation to follow through. We will explore topics such as goal-setting, leadership, perseverance, decision-making, and faith.
This is a great camp option for those looking to advance in their position and for those who have already attended a year or two of Complete Player Camps.
