Drew Mekelburg

About Drew

Drew Mekelburg is the Athletic Director and Men's basketball coach at Union College. It is his fifth year as the head coach.

He has lived in Lincoln for most of his life. He is married to his wife Maile Mekelburg who is a teacher at Beattie Elementary. The first seven years of his career he was an elementary PE teacher at Belmont teaching K-5 PE.

He loves coaching, traveling, being active any way he can, and watching as many Nuggets, Avalanche, Broncos and Rockies games as possible!
