Randy Lee

Randy Lee will be entering his 8th year of working NBC basketball camps. Lee joined the Florida Southern College men's basketball coaching staff as an assistant coach ahead of the 2024-25 season. The Mocs advanced to the 2nd round within the national tournament. Through his 33 years of coaching, Lee has been at all levels including: professional, NCAA DI, DII, NAIA, NJCAA, NCCAA, high school and the prep school level. Lee has led four collegiate programs including Southeastern University, Tennessee Temple University, University of Texas of the Permian Basin and the University of Maine at Machias. He directed the programs at Vanguard School, Lake Wales HS, Orono HS in Maine and Global Prep in Tennessee. He served most recently as the head coach at Southeastern University. Joining the Fire in 2015 as an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator, Lee was elevated to head coach in 2022. While at SEU, Lee had five NAIA Tournament Appearances, three regular season conference championships, three conference tournament championships and a Sweet 16 finish while head coach. Lee recruited and developed numerous 1,000-point scorers and future NBA signee, Riley Minix. He is also proud of their four Champions of Character winners. Between his two stints at Southeastern, Lee was an assistant coach at Polk State College in 2019-20, where he coached the team to a 20+ win season. Lee led Vanguard School to the playoffs in 2021 and a District Coach of the Year. Prior to his time at SEU, Lee guided Lake Wales High School to a pair of district titles, and two Elite Eight finishes in the state tournament. In 2014, Lee was named the FACA District Coach of the Year for his efforts and coached in the FABC North-South All-Star game... Lee spent three seasons at Tennessee Temple University as the head coach, leading the team to the Regional Final. He also served as head coach at NCAA Division II University of Texas Permian Basin as well as the University of Maine at Machias. Lee earned Coach of the Year while at UTPB and advanced Maine-Machias to the NAIA national tournament. As an assistant coach, Lee spent six years at the NCAA DI level at Delaware State, Centenary, Towson and Maine, and a year at the University of Miami as a graduate assistant for Hall of Fame coach, Leonard Hamilton. Through his career, Lee has helped develop hundreds of players that have gone on to play professionally. He has worked thirty-three years of camps throughout the country as well as overseas camps and tours.
