About Michael
Michael Nunes is a national champion and former professional basketball player based in Bend, Oregon. He won an NAIA national title under Hall of Fame coach Danny Miles at Oregon Tech, then played four seasons professionally in Mexico's FIBA national league. Michael has used that experience to train the next generation of competitive players through private and group coaching. For the past 16 years, he has worked with athletes from grade school through high school, focusing on defensive development, shot mechanics, and the competitive habits that hold up during crunch time. Michael coaches with a style that encourages athletes through positive reinforcement, self belief and the qualities of being a good teammate and person, both on and off the court.
