NBC TRAVEL TEAMS - NOW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR 2027 SEASON!

NBC Camps Now Accepting Applications for 2027 Travel Teams - Apply Today!

Take your game around the world! NBC Camps Travel Teams offer athletes an unforgettable opportunity to combine their love of basketball or volleyball with international travel, cultural experiences, and personal growth.

As an extension of NBC Camps, Travel Teams challenge athletes to grow both on and off the court while experiencing new cultures, building friendships with international athletes, and expanding their global perspective. During the day, teams explore local landmarks and experience the culture of their destination. In the evenings, athletes compete against local teams, putting their skills to the test while building meaningful connections through sport.

More Than a Game

NBC Travel Teams are about more than competition. Athletes are selected for their athletic ability, strong moral character, and commitment to servant leadership. The experience encourages athletes to become the best versions of themselves while representing NBC Camps and building relationships that extend beyond the court.  From international competition to cultural exploration, a Travel Team experience provides athletes with opportunities to develop leadership, confidence, and a deeper appreciation for the world around them.

How Are Athletes Selected?

Athletes are typically identified through nominations from NBC Camps coaches, who evaluate players during summer camps. These nominations recognize athletes who demonstrate strong character, servant leadership, and the skills needed to contribute to a Travel Team. Invitations to apply are generally sent to nominated athletes at the end of summer and into early fall.

Didn’t attend an NBC Camps summer program but are interested in traveling with a team in 2027? You can still express your interest!
