NBC Camps coaches are known for their hard work, great attitude, and commitment to helping you reach your potential on and off the court.  Our curriculum focuses on helping you master important skills as well as developing leadership, mental toughness, and confidence.  Our coaches are intentional about connecting with campers as players and as individuals.

The NBC Difference
NBC Camps has built a program of training to help each camper walk out of camp a better player and person.  Our site directors work as event managers helping to run a great week of camp and facilitating the implementation of our specific camp expectations.   Our basketball instruction is based on skill curriculum and talent development we believe are essential to take your game to the next level.   Though coaching styles and drills may change, our master teachers receive tools such as DVDs, lesson plans, and detailed training on how to maximize this week of camp.  Coaching at camp is much different than coaching a team.  With over 45 years experience, our goal is to give you the best basketball and life skills instruction possible.

TEC Method
The ability to know, understand and apply is the heart of NBC’s "Teach, Encourage, Correct" method.  True teaching takes place when the student knows how to reproduce the skill and self-correct when it is wrong.

Complete Skills Junior Day Camps focus on the important keys for young athletes to become excellent at the game of basketball. These camps are specifically designed for younger athletes who are newer to the game. The intensity, curriculum, and the schedule are more conducive for younger players and we highly recommend these camps as a starting point before coming to an overnight camp or specialty day camp. We break our teaching into four focus areas: individual offense, defense, shooting and team skills. Campers are separated into teaching groups based on their age and ability. Some of these camps will have a greater emphasis on ball handling and/or shooting skills (see camp schedule for details).

The HUB Sports Center in Liberty Lake is one of the premier athletic training/game venues in the region. It features 5 full basketball courts that also convert to volleyball. Amazing coach!

The coach was amazing. He was fun and very good with the kids. I stayed the whole time and would love it if he could hold camp throughout the year. My camper loved him too and can’t wait until next year.

Best camp

I learned ball handling drills and using the back board and 9 keys while shooting. I made new friends and learned a lot. It was the best basketball camp ever!

Taught respect!

I liked the structure and emphasis placed on following directions. I like that it got my son excited about learning his favorite sport. I especially liked that rule #1 was respect!

We traveled over two hours to attend, so I needed to call and make sure we had openings for a changing number of campers. I always got someone helpful. Camp itself was great - kids showed growth in skill and confidence. We brought a guest camper who also enjoyed and wants to come back.

Very Involved!

Loved the coaches, very involved with the kids, and they know the game because they have played themselves at a high level. Loved that they emphasize positive attitude, gratitude, and competitiveness. The camper spotlights (giving and getting) are what JR talks about the most from camp, than second most are the different shooting games he took away and can now do from home to keep improving. This was J.R.'s first ever NBC camp since he's only 8, and it did not disappoint, you guys are awesome!!!

Great experience

NBC Basketball Camp at the HUB was a great experience for our son.  This was his first time doing camp and he already wants to do the overnight camp at NBC Whitworth next year.

Liked it

As much as I liked this camp, it's not my favorite compared to some others.
