Complete Player Camps focus on the crucial keys to becoming a great player. We break our teaching into four focus areas: Individual offense, defense, shooting and team skills. Campers are separated into teaching groups and teams based on their age and ability. These camps are not for the beginning basketball player. Athletes who attend must have the fair amount of experience and ability appropriate for 6 to 8 hours a day of basketball. We recommend our junior camp option to younger or more beginner athletes.
Complete Player Camps are highly recommended and emphasize extensive skill development, intensity, enthusiasm, leadership, and team. Many athletes who have attended our program go on to play at the college level and beyond. NBC Camps full-time staff work year round to make NBC Camps the premier basketball camp in the world. One of the highlights of this week is Intensity Night. Enjoy tournaments, games, amazing staff who care about helping you become the best person you can be.

Intensity Night- Intensity Night is a unique NBC Camps event involving sweat, music, encouragement, and craziness. Intensity Night gives campers the opportunity to work harder than they’ve ever worked before, and they’ll be cheered and encouraged every step, jump, and push-up along the way. Campers set their level of intensity, and everyone is encouraged to reach his/her personal goals. No one is forced to go beyond their abilities. It’s a fantastic opportunity for campers to explore how fun challenging work can be. At some locations, families are welcome to attend to observe and encourage campers, you will be notified by your camp director prior to camp if this is available.
Camp Store- At some locations, there is a camp store that sells anything from snacks and sports drinks to NBC gear such as t-shirts and sweatshirts. When there is a camp store, there is also a camp bank located near the check-in tables on the first day. Parents can give money to the camp bank on behalf of their camper so they can purchase merchandise or snacks from the camp store. We recommend sending between $40-$60 for snacks, drinks, apparel, and other products. On the last day of camp, parents should retrieve any unspent money. Not all locations have a camp store.
Golden Ruler Award- The Golden Ruler Award is the highest achievement at NBC Camps. It is designed to teach campers to become a person of depth and reflection, while instilling the importance of community service, discipline, and accountability. The criteria for the award are very strict, thus only campers ages 13-18 may try for the award. Those who would like to attempt this should bring a notebook. Criteria includes journaling, designing workouts, memorization, testing, essays and more. *Not all locations offer the Golden Ruler
International Travel Teams- NBC invites athletes ages 14-18 on international tours through the NBC Travel Teams program. Campers will learn about NBC tours at camp and can apply for one of our teams by contacting Travel Team Director Breanna Lyons at email@example.com or visit http://www.nbccamps.com/international

One of the ways that my son could have had a better time is if he had a roommate. Someone to share the day's experiences with. The drills helped show strengths and weakness of each player.

Unlike other camp programs where skills training falls under the expertise of the camp director, NBC Camps has built a program of training to help each camper walk out of camp a better player and person. Our site directors work as event managers helping to run a great week of camp and facilitating the implementation of our specific camp expectations.
Our basketball instruction is based on skill curriculum and talent development we believe are essential to take your game to the next level. Though coaching styles and drills may change, our master teachers receive DVDs, lesson plans, and detailed training on how to maximize this week of camp. Coaching at camp is much different than coaching a team. With over 40 years experience, our goal is to give you the best basketball and life skills instruction possible.
