About Michael
Michael Escobedo is a seasoned basketball coach and entrepreneur with extensive experience at the collegiate and international levels. Formerly the Head Men’s and Women’s Basketball Coach at Pacific Union College, Escobedo also served as a standout assistant at Mendocino College, where he helped lead the program to its first State Final 8 appearance and record-breaking rankings.
He is the director of Legacy Sports Academy, the largest AAU program in Mendocino and Lake counties, and the founder of ESCO Sports International Inc., which facilitates international sports tours for athletes. His coaching pedigree includes working alongside NBA figures like Patrick Beverley and Horace Grant, as well as an eight-month coaching tenure in Guangdong, China.A former player for Multnomah University, Escobedo holds degrees in Business Administration and Bible, and is currently completing his Master’s in Sports Management at Eastern New Mexico University.
