About Ryan
A Medford native and the current Head Boys Basketball Coach at Eagle Point High School, Ryan Marrs brings over 20 years of coaching and mentorship experience to NBC Camps. Since falling in love with the sidelines after his playing days at North Medford High, Ryan has dedicated his life to serving athletes at the youth, middle school, and high school levels.Beyond the court, Ryan’s career is defined by a deep commitment to youth advocacy and community service. He has served as a drug and alcohol counselor, a case manager for youth experiencing homelessness, and a gang intervention specialist. Currently serving as a Graduation Coach, Ryan treats basketball as a ministry, using the game to share the Gospel and build resilient character. He directs NBC Camps Southern Oregon University, providing an environment where young men can sharpen their skills and grow as leaders through fellowship and hard work.
