NBC Complete Skills Volleyball Day Camps in Grays Harbor is perfect for athletes who want to elevate their game.

Led by our talented coaching staff, training consists of comprehensive skill development, live-action competition and building confidence on and off the court. Campers are placed in leagues based on age and skill level.

VOLLEYBALL DAY CAMP INFORMATION

Daily Times for Day Camp: 9am to 3pm (first day check-in is 8:30am)

What to bring: Campers should bring sack lunch, volleyball, water bottle, and completed medical release waiver (online) and concussion form (paper).

CAMP DESCRIPTIONS

Complete Skills Volleyball Day Camp offers training in all aspects of the sport including leadership and confidence training. NBC's Complete Skills volleyball curriculum is all-encompassing to help athletes develop and master skills to play the game of volleyball with excellence.

HS Complete Skills Volleyball Camps follow the same curriculum but are recommended for volleyball players who have a few years of experience and knowledge of the game.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & OTHER

Ratio: approximately a 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience.
Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own knee pads and athletic equipment and have at least one pair of well broken-in volleyball (court) shoes. Campers do need to bring their own volleyball (clearly labeled with their name). Visit our Camp Packing List for a full list of what to bring. NBC Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
Allergies/Dietary Restrictions/Medical Concerns: please include this on your registration so campus staff and camp staff can be prepared for your camper's arrival.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

Coach Layne Martin

Layne Martin brings a competitive spirit and a heart for mentorship to every NBC camp. A former college volleyball player and experienced club coach, Layne has played at the collegiate level for South Puget Sound Community College and Warner Pacific University. She has coached for Grays Harbor Volleyball Club, Dakine Volleyball Club, and Emerald Rain Volleyball Club, where she’s led athletes at both regional and national levels.

Layne is known for her positive energy, creative drills, and ability to build trust with players of all skill levels. Her coaching style focuses on building confidence, discipline, and team chemistry—both on and off the court. She served as the Assistant Volleyball Coach at South Puget Sound Community College and is now the New Head Coach for Women's Volleyball at Olympic College.

Outside of volleyball, Layne brings a love for leadership, learning, and personal growth to every camp session. She believes in the NBC mission to not only build better athletes—but better people.
