Eastern Oregon 2026 Basketball Summer Camp
NBC Basketball Camps is excited to be back at La Grande High School in La Grande, Oregon for a Complete Skills Junior Basketball Day Camp summer of 2026! These day camps are very different from the overnight camp hosted at Eastern Oregon University and are a much lighter version of the camp curriculum. These junior camps are perfect for the younger or more beginning athletes which run at a pace more suitable for these ages groups. Led by experienced NBC coaches, campers will enhance their skills while building confidence and mental toughness.

BASKETBALL DAY CAMP INFORMATION
Daily Times for Day Camp: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (first-day check-in is 8:30 am)
What to Bring: Campers should bring a sack lunch, basketball, water bottle, and completed medical release waiver (online).
CAMP DESCRIPTIONS
Complete Skills Junior Basketball Day Camp focuses on the crucial keys for athletes to become excellent at the game of basketball. The intensity, curriculum, and schedule are suited for athletes who are younger or newer to the game of basketball. We break our teaching into four focus areas: Individual offense, defense, shooting, and team skills. Campers are separated into teaching groups and teams based on their age and ability.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & OTHER
Ratio: approximately a 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience.
Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own athletic equipment and have at least one pair of well-broken-in basketball (court) shoes. Campers do need to bring their own basketball (clearly labeled with their name). Visit our Camp Packing List for a full list of what to bring. NBC Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
Allergies/Dietary Restrictions/Medical Concerns: please include this on your registration so campus staff and camp staff can be prepared for your camper's arrival.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

- 9:00am Welcome and warm ups
- 9:20am AM Session: Drills designed for age appropriate. Shooting or dribbling focus skill training
- 12:00pm Lunch - please bring sack lunch
- 12:45pm PM Session: Afternoon Program with NBC Theme, leadership training, and discussion groups
- 1:30pm Competition and games
- 3:00pm Camper pick-up

La Grande Middle School has a beautiful facility with a big court space, plenty of baskets, and a great environment for camp.
