NBC Connect TEAMS is hosted out of our NBC Central Office in Spokane, WA. Campers in 6th - 12th grade from ANYWHERE can register for NBC TEAMS.

Our NBC Connect Coaches, many of which coach and direct at our summer camps, will guide small groups or TEAMS through a 5-week training course that is designed to help you elevate yourself on and off the court.

Teams are small groups, usually about 5-6 student-athletes, that are formed based on age and gender. Campers enroll for these courses that are led by our NBC Connect Coaches. These teams will meet weekly online with Zoom. The goal is to build camaraderie, to provide a forum where the athletes can grow together through accountability, encouragement, and guidance from the Connect Coach. Athletes will also be able to interact with coaches over email throughout the week to submit assignments, report on progress, or ask questions.

One of the most important jobs of the NBC Connect Coach is to make these weekly team meetings as valuable as possible. These are the primary connection source for the NBC Connect Teams.

There are currently no NBC Connect Teams scheduled for 2021.

NBC Connect Teams – Small group accountability courses led by an NBC Connect Coach. These teams meet weekly on Zoom over five weeks and dive into ways to improve on and off the court. We are all about improving the total person.

Do I need a basketball hoop?

NBC Connect Teams have a primary focus of improving the athlete off the court. You do not need a basketball hoop. Some Connect coaches may provide weekly challenges, but a hoop is not necessary.

How long are the Connect sessions?

Each session is about 40 minutes long.

Coach Coach Breanna Lyons

Bre has been a part of the NBC Central Office for four years as the NBC Travel Team Director and also coaches at local NBC camps. She was a competitive athlete through high school and now coaches an AAU and YMCA basketball team. Bre is passionate about player development, mentoring, and challenging athletes to get to the next level as an athlete and as a person. She is excited to coach athletes through NBC Connect.
