Centralia Washington Basketball Summer Day Camp

This summer in 2026, NBC Basketball will be back at the NW Sports Hub in Centralia, Washington for a comprehensive and intensive basketball training week. NBC Basketball Camps will host a Complete skills basketball day camp designed for athletes ages 9-14. These camps are created for younger athletes who are passionate about basketball and are willing to work hard to improve.

NBC's dedicated coaches help each camper gain a better understanding of the game and work on the important fundamentals such as dribbling, shooting, passing, rebounding and team play.

Since 1971, NBC Basketball Camps train the total athlete with an emphasis on skill mastery, mental toughness, servant leadership, and personal faith. Dates: Tentative July 20-23 | Ages: Boys and Girls ages 9-14

DAY CAMP INFORMATION

Daily Times for Day Camp and Clinics: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (first-day check-in is 8:30 am)
What to Bring: sack lunch (any snacks if necessary), a basketball labeled with name, a water bottle, and a completed medical release waiver (done online).

CAMP DESCRIPTION

Complete Skills Basketball Day Camp focuses on the crucial keys for athletes to become excellent at the game of basketball. The intensity, curriculum, and schedule are suited for athletes who want to take what they know and improve it to take their game to the next level. We break our teaching into four focus areas: Individual offense, defense, shooting, and team skills. Campers are separated into teaching groups and teams based on their age and ability.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & OTHER

Ratio: approximately a 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience.
Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own athletic equipment and have at least one pair of well-broken-in basketball (court) shoes. Campers do need to bring their own basketball (clearly labeled with their name). Visit our Camp Packing List for a full list of what to bring. NBC Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
Allergies/Dietary Restrictions/Medical Concerns: please include this on your registration so campus staff and camp staff can be prepared for your camper's arrival.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

International Travel Teams- NBC invites athletes ages 14-18 on international tours through the NBC Travel Teams program. Campers will learn about NBC tours at camp and can apply for one of our teams by contacting Travel Team Director Breanna Lyons at travelteams@nbccamps.com or visit http://www.nbccamps.com/international

DAY CAMP - SAMPLE SCHEDULE

9:00 am Welcome and shoot around
9:15 am Warm ups and ball handling/dribbling work
10:00 am Fundamental skill training such as shooting, passing, rebounding, defense, and attacking the basket
12:00 pm Lunch break
12:50 pm Leadership training and discussion
1:15 pm Competitive work such as shooting games, small sided games, and scrimmage
3:00 pm Spotlights and daily review

Located in Centralia, Washington, Northwest Sports Hub arena has over 75,000 sq ft of space to accommodate various sporting activities and special events year-round. It holds 8 full-size basketball courts.
