About Brenna
A native of Lake Tapps, Washington, Berkimer began her coaching career following four seasons with the Whitworth volleyball program. While with the Pirates, Berkimer (formerly Bruil), was tabbed All-NWC for three straight seasons, capping her senior year with an All-NWC second team recognition.
Out of high school, Berkimer was named Tacoma News Tribune Player of the Year and MVP of the South Puget Sound League.
Upon graduating with her degree in business management, Berkimer pursued coaching as a graduate assistant with Whitworth in 2017. In 2019, she was elevated to an assistant coach and the program’s primary recruiting coordinator. She coached at Whitworth for 7 seasons, 2017-2023, before moving back to western Washington.
Brenna most recently spent a season at Division I, Seattle University after taking a year away to have a baby.
