About Chelsey
Chelsey Lucas is the Head Volleyball Coach and Assistant Athletic Director at Yavapai College, known for orchestrating elite program turnarounds. At the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, she elevated the program from an NCAA ranking of 375 to the top 100, securing a 100% graduation rate and a SWAC title game appearance.
Previously, she led Alcorn State to its first tournament in years and ranked second nationally in aces per set. A former SWAC Defensive Player of the Year at Grambling State, Coach Lucas holds master’s degrees from the University of Phoenix and Alcorn State.
