About Jason
Jason Smarr is a former professional athlete and seasoned collegiate coach, Jason brings a championship pedigree and a passion for mentorship to every camp session. He currently serves on the coaching staff at Corban University, where he has spent four years as the Head Coach of the Gold Squad, specializing in player development and moving athletes to the next level.
His coaching resume includes a national tournament appearance as an assistant at Arizona Christian University and a successful tenure as a head varsity coach in Arizona.As a player, Jason was a First-Team All-NWAC honoree and helped Clark College capture a NWAC Basketball Championship. He finished his collegiate career at Corban with All-Conference honors before playing professionally for the Salem Capitals, where he averaged over 12 points per game.
With a Master’s in Education and a background in elementary teaching, Jason is uniquely equipped to break down complex skills while building the character and faith of every camper.
