Northern Idaho 2027 Basketball Summer Camp go live starting November 30
NBC Complete Player Intensive/Elite Basketball Camp in Coeur d' Alene, Idaho provides comprehensive basketball and leadership training in at the beautiful campus of North Idaho College. Camp Director, former college standout and European professional, Marc Axton and other talented NBC coaches are dedicated to improving each camper’s basketball fundamentals, shooting skills, defense, and ball handling. Complete Player Intensive Basketball Camps - Attendance at this camp means that you are one of the top players in your area. This camp offers training in more advanced aspects of the game including basketball IQ, teamwork, and court leadership. NBC's basketball curriculum is all-encompassing to help athletes develop and master skills to play the game of basketball with excellence. NBC Basketball’s complete player-intensive camp is designed for more experienced athletes and students will play between six and eight hours per day. The camp is high intensity and expectations of the players.
These camps are not for beginning athletes. Athletes are expected to have solid fundamentals and can grasp higher and more advanced aspects of the game.

DAILY TIMES & CAMP INFORMATION
OVERNIGHT CAMP SCHEDULE
First-day check-in begins at 12:30 pm for overnight and extended-day campers.
Last-day check-out at 3:00 pm.
EXTENDED DAY CAMP SCHEDULE
First day: 12:30 pm-9:00 pm. Dinner provided.
Middle days: 9:00 am-9:00 pm. Lunch and dinner are provided.
Last day: 9:00 am 3:00 pm. Lunch provided.
Extended-day campers DO NOT sleep on campus or eat breakfast on campus.
ROOMMATES & HOUSING
Roommates for this site need to be requested at least two weeks before camp begins. If you have no preference, we will match you with a camper of the same gender and similar age. Contact nbc@nbccamps.com if you need to add a roommate request.

Bathrooms: Suite style. Campers share a common bathroom
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & OTHER
Ratio: approximately a 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience.
Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own athletic equipment and have at least one pair of well-broken-in basketball (court) shoes. Campers do need to bring their own ball (clearly labeled with their name). Visit our Camp Packing List for a full list of what to bring. NBC Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
Allergies/Dietary Restrictions/Medical Concerns: please include this on your registration so campus staff and camp staff can be prepared for your camper's arrival and meals.
TRANSPORTATION
Travel Assistance for NIC Camp
NBC Camps is pleased to assist with coordinating transportation for campers flying into Spokane International Airport to the NIC campus in Coeur d'Alene. Transportation is provided by a third-party transportation company.
Please note that NBC Camps is not the transportation provider and does not own, operate, or control the vehicles or drivers. While we coordinate scheduling as a courtesy to families, NBC Camps assumes no liability for transportation services, including but not limited to delays, accidents, loss of property, or other incidents that may occur during transport.
By utilizing this coordinated service, parents/guardians acknowledge and accept that transportation is provided by an independent third party.
Shuttle Schedule
Arrival (Spokane Airport to NIC Campus):
- Shuttle departs at 11:00 AM on July 6
- Shuttle departs at 11:00 AM on July 13
Departure (NIC Campus to Spokane Airport):
- Depart NIC by 3:30 PM on July 9
- Depart NIC by 3:30 PM on July 16
(Estimated travel time: 45–60 minutes)
To reserve a seat and submit payment for the NBC Shuttle, please email Kristen Howard at kjhoward@nbccamps.com at least two weeks prior to your camper’s start date. Please note: A minimum of five campers is required for the shuttle to operate. If the minimum is not met, the shuttle service will be canceled.

Show lessSee more camp detailsIntensity Night- Intensity Night is a unique NBC Camps event involving sweat, music, encouragement, and craziness. Intensity Night allows campers to work harder than they’ve ever worked before, and they’ll be cheered and encouraged every step, jump, and push-up along the way. Campers set their level of intensity and everyone is encouraged to reach his/her personal goals. No one is forced to go beyond their abilities. It’s a great opportunity for campers to explore how fun hard work can be.
Camp Store- At some locations, there is a camp store that sells anything from snacks and sports drinks to NBC gear such as t-shirts and sweatshirts. When there is a camp store, there is also a camp bank located near the check-in tables on the first day. Parents can give money to the camp bank on behalf of their camper so they can purchase merchandise or snacks from the camp store. We recommend sending between $40-$60 for snacks, drinks, apparel, and other products. On the last day of camp, parents should retrieve any unspent money. Not all locations have a camp store.
Golden Ruler Award- The Golden Ruler Award is the highest achievement at NBC Camps. It is designed to teach campers to become a person of depth and reflection while instilling the importance of community service, discipline, and accountability. The criteria for the award are very strict, thus only campers ages 13-18 may try for the award. Those who would like to attempt this should bring a notebook. Criteria include journaling, designing workouts, memorization, testing, essays and more. *Not all locations offer the Golden Ruler
International Travel Teams- NBC invites athletes ages 14-18 on international tours through the NBC Travel Teams program. Campers will learn about NBC tours at camp and can apply for one of our teams by contacting Travel Team Director Breanna Lyons at travelteams@nbccamps.com or visit https://www.nbccamps.com/international
Overnight Camp - Sample Schedule - Day 2
- 7:00 am Camp wake up
- 7:15 am Ball handling/dribbling work
- 7:45 am Breakfast
- 9:00 am Morning session: skill training including individual and team offense, shooting, defense, passing, rebounding, finishing
- 11:45 am Lunch break
- 1:20 pm Afternoon session: Competitive skill work and team play including small sided games
- 3:30 pm Games and tournaments
- 5:00 pm Dinner
- 6:00 pm Basketball evening activities including shooting games, intensity night, games and events
- 8:30 pm Leadership training including motivational videos, speakers, small group discussions and goal setting
- 9:30 pm Extended Day Campers dismissed
- 10:00 pm Lights out
ABOUT THE CAMPUS
North Idaho College is located on the world-famous Lake Coeur d'Alene. Campers have access during the supervised free time for lake swimming. Campers will be staying in the dorms at North Idaho College's new multi-million dollar facility. Rooms are air-conditioned and each suite houses three to four campers with individual private showers and facilities. The cafeteria provides all-you-can-eat selections. The evening program is located in a large event room in the student center.

Certified Mental Performance Consultant Brandon Davis
Brandon graduated from California Baptist University with a master’s degree in Sport and Performance Psychology and is a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC). He is a former collegiate dual-sport athlete and played professional basketball overseas. Brandon has experience as a basketball coach at the high school and NCAA D2 level, as a personal trainer, and as a health coach. As a mental performance coach, Brandon has helped athletes and teams reach their goals across a wide array of sports.
