Bozeman, Montana 2026 Basketball Summer Camp

NBC Basketball Camps will host two comprehensive basketball camps at Petra Academy located just outside of Bozeman. Two weeks of camp will be offered: a Complete Skills Junior Basketball Day Camp and a Complete Skills Basketball Day Camp for different ages, talents and skill levels.

NBC Basketball Camps have been training athletes since 1971 and have had many go on to play at the college level. NBC Basketball Camps curriculum focuses on mastering fundamental skills and boosting confidence on and off the court.

BASKETBALL DAY CAMP INFORMATION

Daily Times for Day Camp: 10:00 am to 3:00 pm (Director will provide exact drop-off and pick-up times - first-day check-in is 9:45am)

CAMP DESCRIPTIONS

Complete Skills Junior Basketball Day Camp focuses on the crucial keys for young athletes to become excellent at the game of basketball. These camps are specifically designed for the younger athlete. The intensity, curriculum, and schedule are much more conducive for a younger athlete and we highly recommend this camp as a starting point for the younger player before coming to an overnight camp. We break our teaching into four focus areas: Individual offense, defense, shooting, and team skills. Campers are separated into teaching groups and teams based on their age and ability.

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & OTHER

Ratio: approximately a 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience.
Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own athletic equipment and have at least one pair of well-broken-in basketball (court) shoes. Campers do need to bring their own basketball (clearly labeled with their name). Visit our Camp Packing List for a full list of what to bring. NBC Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
Allergies/Dietary Restrictions/Medical Concerns: please include this on your registration so campus staff and camp staff can be prepared for your camper's arrival.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

Bullying Policy- Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among students that involves a real or perceived power imbalance. The behavior is repeated or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Three types of bullying include verbal, social, and physical. At NBC Camps, we will not tolerate bullying, and any reported incident will be investigated and taken seriously. Bullying behavior could result in immediate dismissal from camp.

International Travel Teams- NBC invites athletes ages 14-18 on international tours through the NBC Travel Teams program. Campers will learn about NBC tours at camp and can apply for one of our teams by contacting Travel Team Director Breanna Lyons at travelteams@nbccamps.com or visit http://www.nbccamps.com/international

Day Camp Sample Schedule

9:00 am Welcome and warm up
9:20 am Ball handling and dribbling stations
10:00 am Skill work such as shooting, footwork, attacking the basket, finishing, rebounding, defense, and/or passing
12:00 pm Lunch break
12:45 pm Leadership training and discussion
1:15 pm Competitive work such as shooting games, small-sided games, scrimmage
3:00 pm Spotlights and daily review

Located on the west side of Bozeman, the newly built gymnasium at the Petra Academy holds six basketball hoops.
