BASKETBALL DAY CAMP INFORMATION
Daily Times for Day Camp: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm (The Director will provide exact drop-off and pick-up times - first-day check-in is 8:30 am)
Campers will need to bring their lunch each day along with a water bottle.
CAMP DESCRIPTIONS
Complete Skills Basketball Day Camp focuses on the crucial keys for young athletes to become excellent at the game of basketball. We break our teaching into four focus areas: Individual offense, defense, shooting, and team skills. Campers are separated into teaching groups and teams based on their age and ability. Complete Skills Camps emphasize basketball development, enthusiasm, leadership, and teamwork.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & OTHER
Ratio: approximately a 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, skill, and experience.
Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own athletic equipment and have at least one pair of well-broken-in basketball (court) shoes. Campers do need to bring their own basketball (clearly labeled with their name). Visit our Camp Packing List for a full list of what to bring. NBC Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen items.
Allergies/Dietary Restrictions/Medical Concerns: please include this on your registration so campus staff and camp staff can be prepared for your camper's arrival.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

Day Camp Sample Schedule
- 9:00am Welcome and ball handling warm up
- 9:20am AM Session: Shooting, Dribbling, Effective Passing, Defense Intensity Drills (drills designed for age appropriate skill levels)
- 12:00pm Lunch - Bring Sack Lunch
- 12:30pm Afternoon Program with NBC Theme and Leadership Training
- 1:15 pm PM Session: Group Drills, Competitive Games, and Scrimmage
- 3:00pm Spotlights and daily review

Great Atmosphere
The positive atmosphere and positive, encouraging motivation from the staff is amazing! Scott Marsh is an exceptional human being. My son came home and said that you can really tell that coach Marsh believes and is passionate about what he says and what he coaches. That pretty much sums it up to me as a parent.

Camp Director Stephen Resset
Coach Stephen Resset brings his passion for developing young men and women both on and off the court. Beyond the fundamentals of basketball, Coach Stephen creates an environment where athletes discover their potential as players and as people. "Basketball is an incredible vehicle for personal growth," says Coach Stephen. "At NBC camp, we focus on building the whole person: resilience when facing challenges, confidence in your abilities, and finding genuine joy in the process of improvement." As a three-time state champion under legendary coach Terry Thomas in Dillon, Stephen experienced firsthand how great coaching shapes lives. During his four years as head coach at Valley Christian, he mentored seven all-conference players and two all-state athletes and was able to help build a winning program, but he measures success by how his players developed as individuals. Coach Stephen's approach combines competitive basketball training with character development: "The skills that make great basketball players, dedication, teamwork, overcoming adversity, and continuous improvement, are the same skills that create success throughout life. My goal is to help each camper discover these strengths within themselves." Currently serving as Executive Vice President of Sales for Glidewell Insurance and Investments and as a master basketball official in Montana, Coach Stephen brings a unique perspective on leadership and performance under pressure. "NBC camps were transformational in my own journey. The mentors who invested in me changed the course of my life. Now my greatest privilege is giving that same opportunity to the next generation."
